2012: Frost Damage

Frost Damage

We all know it has been a very early spring. Some plants are more confused than others, so it is difficult to accurately say just how early it is. I guess about two to three weeks for most plants. Andromeda in my yard bloomed in February, so then the mid-April frost found some tender new growth to damage. I have seen quite a bit of frost damage on all kinds of plants, even the awful invasive Japanese knotweed.
